These terms cover use of paintbynumbers.org.uk and its free image-to-paint-by-numbers tool. They are a launch draft pending confirmation of the operator’s legal identity and contact details. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1. What we provide
The site creates digital numbered outlines and colour-reference images from photographs processed in your browser. It does not supply physical kits, paints, canvases or professional art services. No payment or account is required in this version.
2. Your images and permissions
Use only images you own or have permission to adapt. You are responsible for copyright, privacy, publicity and other rights in your source image. Do not use the tool for unlawful material or to infringe another person’s rights.
You retain your rights in your original images. Generating a template does not grant rights in an image that you did not already have. Downloaded templates may be used subject to those underlying rights; the tool makes no guarantee of exclusivity or copyright protection in a generated result.
3. Acceptable use
Do not disrupt the site, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malicious code through it or misrepresent its services. You may link to public pages, but must not imply endorsement or copy the site’s branding and written content without permission.
4. Output quality and printing
Results depend on image quality, colour settings and detail level. Small regions may not be labelled. Digital colours vary between screens, printers and physical paints. Review your template and print a test before committing to materials. Keep a copy of the original photograph; this tool is not an image backup service.
5. Availability and limitations
The tool is supplied on an as-available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every browser or a particular artistic outcome. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from use of a free creative tool. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
6. Third-party materials
Any third-party images or resources remain subject to their own rights. The website’s illustrative featured image is AI-generated editorial artwork and is not a photograph of a product offered for sale.

8. Changes and questions
Features and these terms may change. Material changes should be clearly communicated where appropriate. The operator must publish its identity, working contact details and any applicable governing-law provisions before launch.
